Playing Tip – Men’s Tee

A par five  – once again this hole generally plays into the wind and asks the player to hit a well-directed drive at the left hand bunkers some 270m away from the black tee. For the longer player it calls for a little fade.

The second shot should be hit down the left hand side which would leave a simple pitch up to a receptive green. This is a nice respite after 4 very demanding holes and a strong par four to come.

Playing Tip – Women’s Tee

Drive down the middle of this par 5 to avoid the fairway bunkers right and left. Approaching the elevated green you will need to clear steep bunkers. Consider laying up towards the left hand side, which would leave a shorter pitch up to a receptive green. The green has a considerable slope from right to left and is higher at the front.
